Sahara People




The Western Sahara was a Spanish colony until 1975, when Morocco invaLa Moroccan invasion forced to tens of thousands of saharauis to flee desert inside until Algerian territory, where raised, near the city of Tinduf, fields of refugees.


Exiled in that corner of desert the more hard of the planet, around 160,000 saharauis has been surviving for 30 years in precarious conditions hoping for returning to their earth. it gave by means of the Green March.


Those that they could not flee in 1975 remain in the territory occupied by Morocco.


The Western Sahara is not only a piece of stony desert. In their territory are phosphate the richer mines of the world, important deposits of petroleum and gas and, in their coasts, nourished caladeros of fishing.
